"Bike Doctor" required for Barnardo's Cairngorm Challenge
Can you fix a bicycle puncture? Can you reattach a bike chain? Then we need you!!
Barnardo’s are seeking a volunteer "bike doctor" for its Cairngorm Hike and Bike Challenge, taking place on 8th September 2012. We are looking for someone who can perform basic bike maintenance on participants' bikes should the situation arise.
This is a great event in the beautiful Cairngorm National Park which raises a huge amount of funds for Barnardo's work with vulnerable children in the UK. (www.barnardos.org.uk/cairngormchallenge.htm).
All of our volunteers are provided with a T-shirt and Cairngorm goody bag, along with food on race day. It’s a really great day out – lots of fun, lots of fresh air, and all for a good cause!
